Teen/Tween Programs (Grade 6 to 12)
Fridays 2nd Friday’s: June 14, July 12, & Aug. 9
Beat the boredom this summer by gaming at the library. We will have our new Nintendo Switch Out and available for play and our WiiU. Have a Switch or a mobile device? Bring yours and play along with us! Snacks will be provided.
Thursday, June 20
1 – 2 pm
So many great things are synonymous with “summertime yummies!” We can’t think of a summer treat we enjoy quite as much as a s’more: warm, drippy chocolate oozing around a melted marshmallow and sandwiched in a graham cracker. But, what would you do if you weren’t allowed to have a fire or didn’t have the materials needed to build one? Join us to learn how to make a simple solar-powered cooker that will allow you to make a delicious batch of s’mores without a fire!
